Wow I can't believe people are saying GoW3 with no online is worth a rent, or that GoW3 with online would be more fun. If you find yourself saying these things, then you either have never played GoW, or you don't appreciate quality single player titles.
If your the one who's renting GoW3 because it lacks online, then by all means you are the epic fail.
Nonetheless I do remember reading about an online Gladiator mode. don't know what that means, or whether thats just wishful thinking on someone's part. But online or no online God of War 3 is a first day purchase for me.
I think multiplayer would be cool, not like deathmatches or anything, but like just playing and cutting up baddies with a friend. It's always more fun when you can play with a friend! Unless you don't have a friend then it could just make you feel more lonely :D

GoW multiplayer would not work. It's a single player game, look at how good kratos is alone how could you possibly play online deathmatch? Spam blocks? and if not blocks spam magic? And Oh yeah let's not forget the fact that there's rage mode which makes you pratically invincible how would you beat someone? It makes no sense.

I think they'd make a great couple and have lot's of little war children. I vaguely remember someone posting a hot wallpaper of Nariko and Kratos on here.
