Final Fantasy X HD coming to PS3 and Vita!

The greatest game ever made will be in HD, just announced at TGS! Best news I have ever heard :D

very good news. not that i haven't played it, but i wasn't able to collect all Aeons.. would be great to play it again. FFX is an awesome game.

I never played X or X-2 on PS2, I only payed XII. So a collection would have been great, I'll still probably check out X though.

story and fighting was OK, but the XP system was sooo awful, so easy to buy some worthless bonuses and sometimes very difficult to go back to the good path, you're led to believe you can choose the way you like, but there's just one optimal (and very easy to follow) path to develop a character

I was hoping more for some sort of Final Fantasy HD collection, but I guess one is better than none.

I'm quite excited for this, though. I'm really liking all of these HD PS2 remakes.

this news just made my day :D day one purchase for me. finished the game 3 times but never managed to get the ultimate weapons and beat extra bosses/ dark aeons.

Anyone know if we have to buy the discs seperate or will they be packaged together? It'd be hard to choose which console I'd rather have it on. Regardless it is def good news.

we don't know yet. there is not much info. I also want a bundle that includes both the PS3 and Vita versions. I should not have gotten FFX last year for the PS2. I should have waited.

I'm with the guy who said FFIX HD remake on PS3. No voice overs or anything, just an HD remake. I'm sure adding voices to FFIX would ruin the experience. Oh well, having the game on PSP alone is awesome.

As for this, I'm not too excited. I'm more excited for MGS/ZOE collection and Sonic Generations.

I could see a Final Fantasy IX remake on the PS3 and/or PSVita. Just as long as the voice acting isn't terrible though *looks at Dissidia and shivers*. :?

It will have trophy support. It's mandatory for all PS2 remakes/PS3 games to have trophy support. What worries me now is will Square pull a Capcom like Resident Evil 4 HD by not including a platinum? It's a long game so I hope so. :P

I don't think it's possible to remaster PS1 games. I think that's why MGS 1 was not added to the MGS collection. If Square were to release an HD PS1 FF, it would probably be an actual re-make from scratch, which would take a while. I guess the reason why there hasn't been a FF7 remake so far is because it would take a while to make.

Final Fantasy IX, in my opinion, has the best setting and art style of all the games. I first played it last year and fell in love. I'd gladly grab it in HD if Square ever remade it (won't happen but still).

So, one of the worst characters and ridiculous art direction in RPG's to ever plague mankind will get the HD treatment... hmmph, not surprised one bit.

At least this time i know the quality of the game and that i shouldnt spend money on it.

Yeah, I was disappointed that Beyond Good & Evil HD didn't have a platinum trophy.

They probably figure they can get more cash out of them by releasing the games separately rather than as a collection.

No news about this yet, they said we need to wait for more details about it. But if you're planning to get the physical copy I'd imagine they don't come together, digital though maybe it works on both. I'm probably getting both.

Good news. I haven't played it but I've seen plenty of trailers and it looks extremely impressive. And I can just imagine it in HD. I'll definitely pick it up sometime.

Finish story obviously. More than likely kill Penance, which means you have to do most if not all of the extra stuff. Get all summons, reach max Blitzball level, get all Al Bhed books, etc.

Should take around 200 hours to platinum haha.
