Favorite Metal Gear Solid Game So Far?

Please post your fav Metal Gear game so far (meaning dont pick the new one hehe)

For me i think it will always be the first one, the first time i played that i was blown away. Me and a buddy stayed up most the weekend playing thru it, fantastic experience that game the first time playing. I am a big fan of all the games in the series but #1 is definatly my fav, followed by #2

Damn I'm alone.My favorite is the 2 , I prefer to play as Raiden he is more skilled IMO.However I've never played the first so it's a comparison between the 2nd and the 3rd.

I bought Metal Gear Essential Collection, but I never got around to playing 1 and 3.

I think Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes on the Gamecube is my favourite so far. Twin Snakes was a remake of MGS1 using the MGS2 game engine. I also love MGS3 but I really find it a bit of a grind at times..

I think MGS2 is underrated, just because you dont play as Snake, the game cant be undercut for the solid gameplay additions, story (up to the long winded confusing ending) and good new characters, it was a good MGS game despite not playing as Snake for the bulk. However my favorite is probaly the first one, but in the Twin Snakes version, not the original PS version.

mgs3 was freaking awesome, the best for me . it made me cryleovieyra

I would have to say that MGS2 was the best one to me... the story was so cool to me... I mean I dont want to spoil it for people that havent played it but come on people to find out what the S3 plan really stood for and who raiden represented was so ... so... soo OMG I am just getting goose bumps thinking about how it made me feel...

Oh then I will have to say MGS3 was a close second because it was so emotional... and kojima knew it was gonna be like that... that is why each enemy represented a different emotion...

Now Metal Gear Solid was third but that does not mean it is bad because it was great two, but I mean the story was good and all but it really did not have enough twists for me like the other ones... mind you I played MGS1 after I played 2 so I am not blinded like most people who say the original is the best...

Portable ops was good too... well for a portable version of it...Truthfully that was the most confusing one to me... and that one was not even by Kojima directly... go figure huh

But MGS2 is the best to me too

MGS1 is definitely my favorite one. It was just so groundbreaking in so many ways at that time in gaming. Sometimes I think back to when me and my brother played it for the first time and we were so amazed. MGS1 has truly made an impact on my life (video game wise that is). And I don't know if it's just me, but I found the beginning to be the most fun out of the game.

Yes, after posting, I wanted to edit it but my fingers hurt a little after playing GT5P for about 6 hours, trying to finish the rest of the races I had. :D
