Dumb Question But Here It Goes..

yesterday i was playing CODWW2 and started off with Zombies multiplayer. i have sony gold headphones but they were turned OFF. for some reason the other players could still hear me talking. how is that possible, is it through the ps4 controller and if so how do i turn the setting off?

@BabyPulpFiction: Turning them off only switches off the headphones, the mic still works.

In the quick settings, you need to change the audio settings from prioritise game audio to party chat (I think that's the right way).
