I'm planning to geta PS3, and was wondering if it does, because I have some movies on my PSP memory sticks that I'd like to see on the PS3. I know it has a lot of slots, but is the Pro Duo one of them? BTW the movies are in MP4 format, for PSP. Would that work?

I also have a bunch of USB flash drives lying around.

It depends on which PS3 you get. I know the 20 GB doesn't, not sure about the 40, while the 60 and 80 have the slots. It's actually a Memory Stick slot that supports Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, and Memory Stick Micro.

Don't know about mp4, but if that is the format of PSP I would assume it works. Memory stick pro duo works fine - no need for adapter or nothing - that is on the 60 and 80gb - won't work on the 40gb.

PSP owners - can't he just stream it between the two?

Yes, but you need that converter in your MSPD package. The slot is actually a MSP slot.

No you don't need it. Just push it in further and it will work.

You mean the little adapter I never found a use for before? That kinda looks like a memory stick?

Sry for my previous misleading information. No you don't need that converter for your MSPD. Just pulled one out of my PSP and tried it on the PS3. The sucker went inandout with no problem. I've been using that converter since I had it, sigh!

I don't think so. All the music I got onto my PS3 I got by transfering music from my MacBook Pro, to my PSP, then to my PS3. But that was a while ago, so I can't remember if I had it in the music folder or in the main directory. I think I had it in the music folder though.
