Does the PS3 SLIM have wifi?

the slim is coming out and there are some differences between it and the regular (size, weight, buttons ect) But will the PS3 Slim be wifi connection ready? or will it need to connect through a modem?

The only difference I can remember is you can't install Linux, and yes it comes with wi-fi.

Of course it got wifi ...ps3 fat and ps3 slim are exactly the same.. exactly. exept one is slimer and u cant install linux which is useless anyways

YES, it does. I bought my SLIM today, when I was setting it up for wifi, it seemed to pick up more wifi signals in my area than my 60gb ps3 did and my current signal strength is 100%, compared to roughly 80-90% with my old ps3.

ok cool i just wanted to make sure before i got one, i was gunna pick one up today but my gf wants to get it for me for xmas so ill just wait. i know it doesnt have backwards compatibility (if i emember correctly)but its fine with me cause i still use my ps2 anyway

FW 3.0 comes out for everything on September 1st. The PS3 Slim's have FW 2.8 on them not FW 3.0.
