I was in to it about 6 years ago. Back then it was actually fun. Now its a bunch of poopgmaster456
5 years for me.. I was playing it in the 8th grade and trying to enjoy it some.. but it was ok.. Thats about it.. I tried to make friends on there but it was weird lol... but I would play it again if they made a deal with PS3, Wii, and xbox 360 to connect onto it through their severs :P
Lol, idk what this has to do with ps3 but I think it sucks. I've played plenty of free mmos and honestly I never really enjoyed runescape, I played through the tutorial and got bored.
I used to play it and I really enjoyed it, but then I discovered WoW. Now I'm off WoW, and looking towards DC Universe Online -- if that flops, I'm pretty much done with MMORPGs.
I played it a lot too. For about 2 years. I got to lvl 100 I think and clock about 2500 hours in. But I eventually grew tired of it. I may come back to it (not as much as I used to of course) because they said they'd likely bring back the Wildy. See: http://www.runescape.com/wilderness
It was pretty fun back in the day. I never was a paying member, but I played the free-to-play version very heavily. If I remember I got to about a 98 combat level I think...
I've tried to get back into it, but I just can't now. I can't get into any MMORPGs for that matter. Might give Star Wars: The Old Republic a chance though.
It use to be fun, until they removed the "wilderness" and added the trade limit etc...then it started going downhill.

The wilderness was when it went crap. Before that you could fight people anywhere, it was so much fun, me and these other guys used to be like bandits in this forest and rob people. But they took out all that, after that it got ****

That would actually be awesome. I'm surprised this hasn't been lokced yet since it's in the PS3 forums. Anyway I play it every now and then, so yeah I guess I enjoy it. I'll get into it for a couple weeks, do a ton of levelling. Then I just drop the game and don't play it for awhile, I don't know why.

Runescape on the ps3 would be ftw lol. As for reality, i used to love runescape but quit when everything went bad, loss of wildy and the new trade system etc, urgh..
