I do. I have about ten blu-rays from Pirates of The Caribbean to Avatar to Ratatouile. I watch them through my projector, which is awesome. You?

Sure, I usually buy 2-3 Blurays every month or so. The last one I bought was 'The Mist' - Amazing film, the quality is crazy.

I would if only I had an HDTV. Then I would. That and as you said, Blu-Rays are quite expensive (in NZ as well).

I tried that for a few movies, the difference between a compressed HD download and a uncompressed Bluray is huge...at least to me.

I've only got 7 Blu ray movies, but when I watch them, it's definitely on my PS3. since I don't have anything else to play them on :P I tend to watch a lot of obscure, low budget movies, so most of them aren't available on Blu ray. As time goes by though, more and more of them are becoming available, so my collection will keep growing; albeit slowly.

I don't watch movies more than once typically, so I have a Blu-Ray subscription with Netflix and get about a new movie every other day since there is no new television during the summer.

yes though i do not watch much because im only interested in a few blu-rays. watching movies without CGI and/or explosions is pretty pointless in HD. i laugh when i see romantic comedies and dialogue heavy dramas on blu-ray.

Not really. I started to build a nice collection of blu-rays, but then realized I still needed to have a copy of the same movie on DVD to play on all the other players used by my family. Now I pretty much only buy blu-rays when they are packaged with a DVD copy in the case.

I've also found that on my 42" Bravia that up-converted regular DVDs look pretty darn close to BDs. So I guess until BD prices drop, or I can get a BD player in more of the stuff we use I'll just stick to DVDs for the time being, unless of course it's a combo pack.

Man you people in Oz just get screwed left and right don't you...that's messed up.

Is it the taxes or what causes the prices to be so high? I mean I know they have to ship stuff there, but most stuff is made in China and shipped everywhere else these days anyway.

Well at least you have some good weather.

I watch blu rays regularly on my ps3. That was a big bonus point with the system for me. I don't own very many, but netflix keeps me with plenty of blu rays to watch.

I don't anymore. Not since I recieved a free Blu Ray player when I purchased my TV. I have a 60GB launch PS3 and my blu ray player is so much quiter to run, plus I can use my harmony one remote without having to buy a infared adaptor for my PS3.
