Dead Nation - Anyone still play it ?

Not alot (or enough) of people are playing this fantastic PSN game.

One question,for the different difficulty level trophies, do you have to restart a fresh campaign each time or you can select "single mission" to keep your armor pieces and just select "grim" or "morbid" difficulty ?

Just bought the game about a week ago. Its good but havent played it much lately.
