Sony fanboys: "Call of Duty 4 to be equal on both systems!"

Hooray! Hoora! Hoor..wait a minute!? WHAT!?

When did the Sony camp get satisfied with being on par with the MS box?

Look at this year's Madden. The 360 version is vastly superior. And don't give me that they have not had as long time to develop for the PS3. The PS3 is a b***h to program for and this usually results in multi-platform games being inferior to the version on the more developer-friendly 360. Now if the developer has more time and goes that extra mile, the PS3 might look better. Take Oblivion. Bethesda had a whole extra year to optimize the game for Sony's console. Result? PS3 version is the best. A year later...

My point is this: why spend your hard earned cash on the PS3 now when all you get are inferior versions? The current PS3 exclusives are not exactly great either. Also, given that the PS3 cost a lot more than the 360, which has an incredible line-up this fall and holiday season, buying a PS3 today makes no sense.

And don't give me that "...Blu-Ray capabilities etc..." BS. As it turns out almost 2 out of 3 PS3 owners don't care about the HD format, some don't even know they have it built-in.

My advice to gamers on the fence?

Buy a 360 now, PS3 next year.

2008 might turn out to be the year of the (Solid) Snake, but 2007 belongs to the Big Daddy!
