Best graphics?

Likely done before, but heres another. Obviously the PS3 has great graphical potential, I think that Killzone 2 has the best graphics overall, but in art style Flower and Folklore are still battling around for this honor in my mind. Uncharted continues to baffle me with it's incredible lighting and shades... Metal Gear Solid 4 is incredibley detailed. Definitely beautfiul games, but what game do you all think has the best graphics?

Well everybody has been pitting Killzone 2 against MGS4 in graphics, which doesn't make sense to me. So I just threw that in.

KZ2 has the best PS3 graphics. GT5 shouldn't count because it's a racing game. If you mean overall, then Crysis.pyromaniac223

Not to be rude but that game is amazing graphically. For instance the opti camo, simply impressive. I could be wrong but I was under the impression the cut scenes are game engine not pre rendered.

Ummm... the only option that should really be getting picked is future games. Of course games that are made later will look better.... As of currently/soon to be released games though, that would definitely have to go to Killzone 2. raven_squad

I thought I was the only one who thought Heavenly Sword was great graphics wise.

I say Killzone 2.............Uncharted 2 will absolutely be on the same level or better. Uncharted 1 and Heavenly Sword have been my favorites when it comes to graphics so far, with the understanding that Killzone 2 is gonna take the reins on the 27th!

So far i'm really impressed with Uncharted.. i mean the clothes actually get wet!! i've never seen such graphics in any game as of yet...and the water makes you feel like, OMG, can i take a dive???

Killzone 2 looks really promising also...

But anyways, games released late in a consoles life ALWAYS look better then the games released earlier, unless they're poor, low budget titles. MGS2 < MGS3. Gran Turismo 3 < Gran Turismo 4. Silent Hill 2 < Silent Hill 3. As technology advances, so do the graphics they can create.

MGS just had terrific looking cutscenes but ok looking gameplay.....

LOL, I think it just got lost in the late comers to PS3 ( myself included LOL). I mean the game was out shortly after launch and still blows 90% of games out the water when it comes to graphics. Too bad they've not announced a sequel the characters were amazing. Now, if we could only get SONY to do a game with similar gameplay to Heavenly Sword but based on Ninja Scroll..... or Bleach LOL.

The demo and the video clips are enough to know that it is an amzing looking game.

Last year MGS 4 won Best graphics award of 2008 and Uncharted was a close 2nd. Probably so far in 2009 it is Killzone 2.patriots7672
