Battlefield 3 playing in 480p?

I bought BF3 and noticed it looked bad.  So I pushed the button on my TV remote and it says it's playing in 480p.

My TV supports 1080p and I have played games at that resolution on my PS3, so it's not the TV or console.

There are no in game options to set the resolution.

Someone in a different post with the same problem said they exchanged the game for another and that solved the problem.

What could be going on?

Go to the display options on the ps3 and make sure every box uo to 1080p is checked. It may run at 720p at max on the ps3. if you just have 480p and 1080p checked it may e downscaling it to 480p. hope that helps.

Get far cry 3 u wont regret it imo.
