I have seen amazing reviews for both games but undecided which one I should get? If I can get some assistant here it would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for both single player and online play. Thanks

if you like Mulitiplayer Battlefield 2 is the better game, for Single Player Battlefield 2 is great but shorter, you will get more from Red Dead Redemption.

I still think Battlefield 2 is a much better game. RDR is good but way overhyped, also before going with RDR ask how much you liked GTA4, because its alot like that game.

In terms of multiplayer: Get Bad Company 2. That game is great online and will keep you hooked for a while.

Get RDR for singleplayer, the game is more engaging in that sense and an overall better experience. Bad Company 2's is fun though, as well.

I have them both! Personally, RDR is more fun to me for some reason. The campaign mode in BC2 was really dry and boring and the online play became lame after I unlocked all guns for all profiles (Assualt, Medic, Recon, etc) and it's not like MW where I can prestige. I stopped playing BC2. RDR on the other hand has a very good story that draws me in. I didn't think I'd like the "Western" setting much, but my gut reactions were WRONG! This game is awesome!

So... if you can't buy both... buy Red Dead Redemption!

I traded in BC 2 for RDR just today and RDR is better. It is so immersive and awesome. You should really try it.

RDR for sure. The multiplayer is excellent, actually. I really love it. The single player story is kind of mind blowing, honestly. All around, it's one of my favorite games ever. It PLAYS a lot like GTA4, but it's a WAY better game as a whole. They took everything that was great about GTA4 (online play, open world, etc.), added an amazing story, and made the online play even better.

Thank you everyone with the responses although I am still on the fence since it was like 50 50 with peoples opinions. Although I did noticea lot of people say BF multiplayer is better.......These demos aren't in the PSN store are they?

I have both and i literally play them both every day! RDR is amazing to explore and do things lasso ppl cause havoc etc and looks great! BFBC2 is really good online multiplayer and also the singleplayer is good and is one of the most visually beautiful games ever! Depends if you want a shoot em up or an adventure, RDR is loads of fun to explore and has really cool animations like the way people fall when you shoot them, and how the horses ride etc, and bfbc2 is a full on war experience i found it hard to grasp the controls on it at first but i jus kept playin it just because it looks and sounds so impressive. You could watch videos of both in hd on youtube. Both games are a really good experience just depends which type of game you're after. Id say RDR is a much longer game with more to explore and bfbc2 is the type of game you will throw on and spend ages on multiplayer ranking up. You may also have a few sessions on the singleplayer. I think you should get both because RDR is prob the best rpg at the moment and bfbc2 is one of the best fps along with mw2. personally i rather it to mw2 now....only thing it doesnt have co-op spec ops which i liked but makes up for it with graphics and destructability (im a graphics fiend lol)
