Are you collecting trophies???

The other day i had a discution with my brother about collecting trophies.
He told me that i wasent a good player becouse i didnt collect all the trophies, and i told him that i was really more in to the game just to have fun really and he get mad and stuff so thats why i wanna now if the people are getting the trophies or just loving the game

Yes, because;

1. I like my E-Peen to be huge
2. I like finishing the game COMPLETELY, so I don't go back
3. Trophies are an added bonus and is not supposed to ruin my/your gaming experience

yes although i play all 3 games i have just for fun collecting all trophies for them just adds another challenge.

i used to not really care when my online connection got messed up and i really couldnt share them... but now that my new connection is ok i like to be able to show off my skillz!!! i dont have that many because alot of the trophies that i had with my games i used to have are on an old user id and i dont know why they dont combine with my new one but they dont. Anywayz, i def collect them its fun and it allows you to get the most out of your game.

I only collect trophies if I won't take hours to get or if I only need a few more to get platinum. Otherwise I'm don't care enought to collect them. But trophies are great in games that I want to replay over and over but most game have way to hard/time consuming trophies. Uncharted had the best trophies in my opinion.

I like to collect trophies AFTER I complete the game first. I usually ignore the trophies my first play through then after I complete the game, I go back and get the trophies.Flame_Blade88

Like it's been said, I like to play through the whole game first, then go back and snatch the trophies I can get. I never care for the super hard ones, though. At least I got good replay value out of the game from getting the normal trophies.

yeah, its liker when you finish a game its satisfying...but getting that platinum is so much more so. especially when all my mates ask how the hell i did cod5 on platinum :) lewisg1212

I gave up on COD. The games AI is cheap...not hard, it's CHEAP.

They just spam hundreds of grenades at you all the while compeltely avoiding any confrontation with your allies. they also have built in aimbots that ignore line of sight.

Im all for a challenge. but COD is just cheap. i can't believe people actually say COD has smart AI...

R2 I beat the game once and went back to get what trophies I could and I plan on playing until I 1million XP trophy and 200 elite chimera kills then I probably wont play much

Midnight Club LA- i've gotten about 50% but I didnt have to put in alot of extra effort for them

Uncharted- I replayed when the trophy patch was released

Warhawk- didnt bother to try and get any specific ones

Similar to other people I'll try to get 100% most of the time. I may even go out of my way sometimes but I won't push myself too hard. Like when the right time comes I'll go for the endless setlist trophy in Rockband 2. Killzone 2 elite I knew I could accomplish but others trophies I can tell when my limit is reached but my personal goal is to have at least 50% on all the games I have. Lumines may be the hardest quota though...only at 30%.

Nope. I actually kind of reverse the whole thing and actually play and enjoy the game while trophies randomly come flying in at the top of my screen:P

yea i collect them normally after ive completed the campaign for the first time. They can be pretty fun to get them

I dont play online so i'll never get any platnium trophies.. I play the game for the game, collecting trophies are just a bonus thing.

That's me. Most games I own don't have trophies. I played Little big planet and I collected whatever I got as I played. If the game is good enough I can understand playing it again to collect trophies but if they don't offer any kind of reward then whats the point. Maybe the PSN should offer credits to be used for DLC.

I play the game first; whatever trophies I get along the way is fine. Then I play it again for the trophies.

I agree that trophies are pointless. I wish that trophies has a purpose like 1 platinum = $5 for the PSN store or free any DLC for the game you platinum-ed.

I have trophies but none are purposely achieved.
