I've got one in my house. It still in a good condition and still can be used. How about you guys?

Yes I play on it quite frequently....I love the ps2... Great games for it! Just plug, play and save!
A brilliant console to have you should purchase another one just in-case the one you use often, ends up broken.....
Mainly as a DVD player, but the kids like sonic mega collect & Monopoly so well worth having it constantly plugged in and ready to go.
Great consol.
I play ps2 games but on my ps3. My ps2 is boxed in the attic. The only games I do play tho is Pro Evo 5/6 as they are still the most entertaining footie games to play and Mashed is still an addictive offline multiplayer, prob coz it has no splitscreen. Still cant beat offline multiplayer, so much more fun than playing online.
After God of War and Sly Cooper were remastered on PS3, I had no use for my PS2 anymore and sold it.
Love mine to the point where my wife questions why I bought a ps4, recently found a little shop and boughten was Maximo franchise
I think mine broke down, but if I can get it working again, or if I get a new one (possibly a slimline) then I'd be playing it every single day.
The PS2 still has a ton of great games with good graphics. I bought Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast a few months ago. I love that old school bright colors graphics. I like realistic looking cars on the PS3 but I like the old school graphics as well. Maybe 6 months ago I found out that they had Hot Shot Tennis on PS2. I am big fan of Hot Shots Golf so I purchased Hot Shots Tennis. I regret selling my Onimusha games because they were lot of fun. Ridiculous that they never made an HD Collection on PS3 for that series. What is crazy now is that the PS2 games actually cost more than PS3 games. So many people are selling off their PS3 games as they move on to the PS4 and the supply is big.
@BH14:
Yes tell me about it a lot of ps2 games are getting super expensive, wanted to get yakuza 2 brand new it was about 150$ used it was going for 120$ pulled a no thank you sir. I truly regret no taking advantage when all the ps2 games was at an affordable price.
And still have the ps1 as well!!!
Fire up some games on it from time to time, FF10, FF12, Grandia2 or some KOF flavor!!!
Must say that i kept two crt tvs, just for that ;)
@termi
That's the very reason that i have two items out of every old console i own, starting from the snes ;) and also because i got hundreds of games for each...
Having two is wiser if you don't want to find yourself with plenty of games and no hardware to play them on.
@pizza_078: The PlayStation 2 system that Coolyfett owns, no longer works. The games often skip and freeze up. Its definitely the console and not the games. Plus with PS2 having no PSN access the oldest PlayStation system still relevant would be the PSP. PSP still gets updates.
