Oh drifting, for me it was very hard but I go the hang of it eventually.
My only advice is to start of slow, do slow drifts around turns and eventually you will go faster, I was going way too fast at first, its not like that.
On you tube there are some good explanations and technques used you can watch
Turn all forms of tranction control off, adjust rear suspension to full stiff, race rubber on the front, street tires on the rear, assist corner entry with the handbrake if necessary.
It's tricky, isn't it? What I do, is switch to manual transmission in the setup, then drive into the corner at full revs (the RPM needle is hitting the red)and in a low gear. Aim you car slightly towards the outside of the bend you want to drift 'round. Then at the appropraite moment hit and holdthe Triangle button (for clutch), all the time keeping your revs high. That's what i do, but with those tuned cars it's pretty hard to keep control.
what i would advise to you is start with a nice slow but drift like car.(s13,make sure your car is FR.) with the money you have tune it the like the following: engine 2 sport ecu any exhaust turbo 2 catalyic converter flywheel 6 speed close range gear box normal hard tyres these are the basics for drifting
