Absolute Best PSP Racing Game?

What is the absolute one best racing game for the psp. i know there's so many, so i'm narrowing it down to something i'd want to spend time on

Yah MC3 is the best racing game out there. Has an open city, endless customization and cars, great gameplay/racing as well. Only thing it lacks is a real story. It's downfall is the horrible loading times, get the greatest hits version, it cuts the original 80 seconds load times in half, which still isn't very good. I also recommend Juiced, the driving is alittle iffy(RWD cars are just a b**** to control), but has decent customization/car options. Your rewarded for driving safely, you gain respect. It doesn't have a story really either. Those are the only 2 games i would truely recommend, but you might like the wipeout series.

i'm playing burnout dominator, and i like it so far. surprised no one mentioned anything about burnout games

lol totally forgot about the burnout series, yah those are really good games. I was in the "street racing" mind set. Test drive has alot of cars, but no customization, other than color. When it first came out there were like 50 online, i doubt there is many now, id look at the test drive board for more info.

I have a question, um can i still play/understand this game if i can't read japanese? Like i know you can buy a version with an english manual, but in-game, will i be able to play this game to its fullest.

i just rented nfs carbon. i really like it so far! i played a little bit of the online, and it works pretty well and it's not laggy. i may consider investing in this one.

i have yet to try out test drive

initial d street stage. any of the games anyone else listed are lame. no racing game is better than initial d, and no game will last you as long. Spirit_Warriors

I had a question, asked someone earlier but they didn't respond. But will I be able to play Initial D if I can't read any Japanese? Like, thats my only concern, I don't mind importing it from play-asia, it would only be 33$, which I'm fine with. But I don't want to buy a game I won't understand.

Dont get midnight club the load times are waaaay 2 long

You could also try Wipeout Pulse, its a great racer

mc3 sux,the graphic is bad than nfs carbon,ridge racer has better graphic but still sux,initial d also not the best

i've been playing nfs carbon a bit recently too. it's pretty good.

honestly tho, i got it for the online mode, cuz i already have burnout dominator to keep me busy with single player, so i downloaded a 100% completed save game so i can play online. i was surprised that pretty every race, every player picks the lambo. i got bored after a while. :roll:

good thing i have a game rental service. lol

Ridge Racer for pure arcade, structured fun

Flat Out for off road with some nice twists

Burnout Legends for the crash mode (sadly missing from Dominator)

i like f1 2009 it is awesome the graphics are good and the gameplay is really good

so u r a f1 fan i would say go for it

motorstorm is also good great music and graphics + online is a bonus

both burnout games are also great

nfs series on psp is ok but i dont play them usually
