A brand new Bioshock game in October 2015!?

I've seen on a few forums that the 2K tease is a brand new Bioshock game, but Ken Levine won't be doing it. It is current-gen only, which means the PS4 version will look amazing (I hope).

Not sure how I feel about it, and considering:

how could they go any further?

I didn't think so. In October 2015, it'll be two and a half years since Infinite.

Infinite had a way longer development time and this is next gen, they have had little over a year to get used to next gen

They have been developing for Xbox One and PS4 since late 2011. That gives a possible development time of 4 years.

Yes, I know there was 6 years between 1 and Infinite, but the two were completely different

If this was true, why didn't they announce it this year? And no, the new team took over this year

None of this is even confirmed. Yeah, they teased something not long ago that is going to involve BioShock, but until they make any announcements I'm going to assume they're going to remaster the original BioShock or all of them to make a quick few bucks.

But if there is, in fact, going to be a BioShock 3 or any new BioShock game, I also ask what more can be added to the story. I mean, I love BioShock and the stories they told and how it all came together, but what does that leave? I don't know if I want more background on characters we all ready know, or more background on a world we already know. I think it should be left alone for a while unless there really is a meaningful story somewhere in there to tell.

If it is a new game, I'm hopeful it'll be good because they did a good job on Bioshock 2 I thought (without Irrational & Levine).

In my opinion, infinite was the worst bioshock in the series. hopefully it will be good as 1 & 2
