What RPG am I missing?

I recently bought some PS1 RPGs on Ebay

Dragon Warrior 7, Grandia, Legend of Dragoon, Brave Fencer Musashi, Threads of Fate, Vagrant Story, Star Ocean: Second Story, Alundra 2.

PS2 RPGS I bought were

Unlimited Saga, Romancing Saga, Grandia 2, Atelier Iris 2, and Brave Fencer Musashi.

Am I missing anything? I have all the Final Fantasies so don't recomend any to me.

Yeah I bought Dragon Warrior 7 and I have Dragon Quest 8. Stuck on Dragon Warrior 7 though, 64 hours into it and on the 1st disk.

the easy way to do this would be to check for games on ps2, and select the rpg category
you can do that here on gamespot

and your actually missing quite a bit if your going for all of them

Xenogears is one game on ps1, Xenosaga is different .

also what makes Xenogears the best is, the story and characters.

and one more thing, with 5 minutes you cant judge anything, you should give it a second try. its easy and more interactive than normal turn based rpgs.

but choice is yours ofcourse. for me, you just miss the best storylined rpg game ( though its perfect for me, because i liked everything about the game ) just because of 5 minutes glimpse

Sorry bout that thought you said the Saga series. I played the first Xenosaga for about an hour and did not like it. I tried to get Xenogears but it was too dang expensive.

For the SMT games id say start with Nocturne. its the best out of all of them, but no VA, which IMO is a good thing for this game. then get DDS 1 and 2, good chars., story and some of the best VA in any game. theres also Devil Summoner which is okay but isnt great. its also more of an action-RPG.

Chrono cross, Persona 2, FF tactics, FRONT Mission on PS2, etc etc.

Theres a lot more, cant think at the moment.

xenosagas for ps2, also shin megami tenseis and the "tales of" series.

oh also dragon quest and suikoden.

out of all of those id say xenosaga is my favorite, with dragon quest 8 behind.

get Xenogears, Suikoden I, Suikoden II, Lunar SSSC, Lunar EB

Xenogears also had a cool battle system as well. Best RPG for Playstation, until they rereleased Chrono Trigger (Best JRPG ever!).

Tale Of Legendia. Too bad this isn't game cube, Tales Of Symphonia out does any RPG for me.

Rogue Galaxy was nice, last battle wasn't all that great though...infact the last fight was just stupid as hell. Still a good game.

Rogue Galaxy is kind of similar.

When I first saw the topic I thought I was gonna hafta make a list of 40+ RPGs like I did somewhere else on this board. But, I'll try to narrow it down for you.

Top 2: Tales of the Abyss and Rogue Galaxy. Both of these are excellent and long games. Legendia was excellent as well.

Others: .Hack GU series, Grandia III, Dark Cloud 1 and 2 (Rogue Galaxy is like their spiritual sucessor, I'd play DC 1 and 2 first.)

To Vers1on: Sorry for the off topic rant. Responding to your signature: You do know the 360 has a MUCH wider variety of games than the PS3, right? Most of them aren't shooters. In terms of JRPGs alone you have: Cry On, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, Far East of Eden Ziria, Infinite Undiscovery, Magna Carta 2, Enchanted Arms, and Last Remnant (though the PS3 is getting that too.) In terms of other games: There's the Katamari game, (which MAY be exclusive to 360) Viva Pinata, the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors games, Kameo, Dead or Alive 4, Two Worlds, Fable 2, Mass Effect, etc. I feel offended by your ignorance. Q_Q

I like your post, I do have a PSP butI got Blade Dancer and Radiata Stories instead of Valkyrie Profile. I would love to get started on the Suikoden series, wish they would bring Suikoden 1 and 2 for PSP to the U.S.I just startedplaying the Tales games, I imported Tales of Eternia for the PSP.I would like to start with the Shadow Hearts and the Shin Megami series. I am going to get Disgaea for the PSP then get the 2nd one if I like it.
