Well, I just got a PS2 slim (used) and I got 2 controllers with it (1 Sony, 1 MadCatz). I figure as the PS2 fades into history it would be nice to have a few extra controller, especially wireless ones. I am in a mad search for Logitech controllers for my XBOX and they are all but gone.

So my question is are the Logitech controllers for the PS2 Great/Good/Ok/Bad/Horrible??

I have heard random stories of the thumbsticks wearing out quickly. I am not a hardcore gamer and take very good care of my property so this shouldn't happen to me.

I have two of those Logitech Cordless Action Controllers (the one you have pictured there), and all I can say is I love them. They feel really good and comfortable in my hands; and the battery life (it runs on two AA's) is superb. On a fresh set of batteries, with rumble its around 50-60 hours; without rumble, easily 100+ hours. The only problem I've had thus far is one or two buttons started to stick on me, but that's after a year of lots of gaming. Hope this helps you out.

And stuck buttons are an easy fix. I've taken apart many older controllers to fix that problem. I even had to fix one on a used controller from EB Games... thanks a lot, EB Games...

Yes, I also own one of those. They are great controllers. I've had mine for about a year now and I've had no problems. No button sticking or anything. And the batter life is wonderful like the previous poster said.

I've had mine for years, with no trouble. I used to use batteries that ran out in my camera for weeks afterwards.
