Is Ps2 Dying??

i heard tales that ps2 is dying and maybe because of the next gen...the only thing that keeping ps2 alive is GoW2, GtA stories, MoH series....etc, rihte??

i hope ps2 wont die cause of ps3 annd xbox360....cause i dnt have enough money to buy ps3..lol?

My PS2's dying?!?!  *turns it on to check if it's alive...*  Phew, don't scare me like that!  Well, I know I'm far from done with my PS2, so mine's not dead yet.  Sheesh, if it dies, I'll buy another. :roll:

I know one thing, if you like/love RPG's, there's only one system worth owning this year -Grimgrimoire, Odin Sphere, Persona 3, Soul Nomad, just to name a few- and that's a PS2.(IMHO)

Its only natural that the ps2 is coming to its end, with the next gen consoles here the ps2 is having its final charge this year.

I for one play my ps2 much more than i do my 360, i am now currently looking around for ps2 games i missed out on, like Ico and SotC, now that all of the games are cheaper it's great to pick up the games you missed out on.

Gameplay>Graphics.

Is the ps2 dying ? ...... you bet your a** its dying. It will be completely dead by late 08 like the ps1 died cuz of ps2.

The ps3 will drop in price over time and everyone will have one eventually.

12 to 18 months the Ps2 will cease 2 exist, the next gen consoles will kill it. Sony will keep it going though 2 make those few extra millions of dollars.

i dont know.....unlike when the ps2 came out, all my friends are saying they are gonna keep the ps2 because they heard so many bad things about the ps3....

so, my theory is that yes, its dying, but a lot slower than normal. which is a good thing.

So, according to that logic, the NES isn't dead yet either. Lots of people play it for nostalgia.

But to answer the question of the original poster, no the PS2 is not dead yet, but will be soon.

stfu...why the hell would you care if it's "dying" or not. why the hell does every single person on this forum have to ask about it everytime a next gen console comes out. obviously they'd want to sell the next gen console and games , so eventually they'll stop making games for the ps2.

if you still play ur damn ps2, then its not dying. who cares what other people think, yeah, they'll stop playing it so that means you have to, grow up and make your own damn choices. i'm sick of every single person asking if a console is dying, i dont give a damn if iget banned or modded for this stupid post
