It's not much of a problem, but it is starting to annoy me. For the past couple of months, when I turn on my PS2 usually it go start to the game, but it goes to the PS2 menu and then loads up, and it only takes like two minutes. I tried all of my games and even the new ones I just bought and they do the same thing.

So, can anyone help me out.

Mine does that sometimes as well. , you could try buying a can of compressed air and blowing it at the cd drive, there could be some dust or something.

This is common, I suggest you open it up and clean the dust, if there is any. dahaka_1

By opening up you mean by literally opening my whole PS2, cuz I got the fat version.

Mine does that. It usually has like a 3 minute delay but my Ps2 is also like 5 years old and has been dropped at least 4 times.

Perhaps the lens is dirty. You can try using a lens cleaner or use a can of compressed air.
