My favorite RE4 gun has to be the Red 9. I kept that thing throughout the whole game, and it remained my only handgun. This is coming from a guy who has actually used every RE4 weapon..
my favorite handgun is the red 9, my favorite magnum is the broken butterfly fully upgraded, when i have the enimies in a group i like the TMP. and i absolutly love the striker shotgun.
The knife and the handgun.Knife is a cool weapon and if used skillfully you can kill bossess easily(only exception *SPOILERS* coughcoughsalazarcoughcough).Handgun for controlling the ganado and zealot mob. The best weapons IMO.The special weapons are just too overpowered. I could'nt get out of the knife and unupgraded handgun ever since I did VMerken's No Merchant/Combat Knife and Unupgraded Handgun Run. KNIFE ALL THE WAY!!!!
i like the 3 shot burst matilda when its souped up. and the newer sniper rifle is fun too. chicago typewriter is the bomb, especially when teamed with the infinite rocket launcher.
I love the old school rifle. Even though its not the most powerful and not the most efficient, i just love it. It might be just the reload action that makes me love it so much. Either way, its a fun gun all around.

Red9 was my weapon of choice as well, I pumped that thing up and I was unstoppable.
yeah the Red9 is agood gun it does a lot of damage and it has a stock you can shoot the gun from a long distance but i like the riot gun too (just for the feeling) of reloading.
Chicago Typewriter, no doubt. But if we're talking about the real weapons (not the cheap ones you get after beating the game), the Blacktail.the_bi99man
I agree the Chicago Typewriter is the cooler weapon in the game.
the rifle was so cool... but i just didn't use it as much because of the ammo shortage and because that ammo had to be used in parts where you really needed it
