i don't think that'll work. the data's gone, so copying the file won't do anything

Unfortunately, the data's gone once the file is corrupt. You've wasted 50 hours lol.

This is why you always, always, alwaysdo mulitple save files when given the chance to have them, and FFXII has them.

Fo Sho! You have to have at least two save files, especially for a game like that!

Also, you probably have a 3rd party memory card. They are always crappy.

Yep, I always have two save files, and I switch them for saving. like 10 hours into the game, file 1. 12 hours, file 2, then 14 hours and I'd save in file 1, then 16 and back to file 2. >_>

talk about bad luck, well unfortunately there's no way to get it back when that happens as the corrupted data overwrites the valid data, you'd be better off making sure you always have a back up for long game saves :P for this time you're gonna have to start from scratch though it seems...

Save the game and while it is saving pull out the memory card. I did this with my 100% GTA 3 file and it un-corrupted.

he is pulling your leg, thats a excellent method to obtain another corrupted save file.

The bugger with these things is that somethimes they are un-deletable unless you use 3d party software so they only eat up space

I wouldn't do that if I were you. You'll just corrupt more data.

1st: Only use Sony memory cards

2nd: ALWAYS use multiple saving files, and ocasionally change between them, so if a file gets corrupted youll only have to go a couple of hours back and not the hole friking game

A file never got corrupted to me, but multiple saves are like condoms, better have them and not need them than need them and not have them
