Don't go with the 8400. I have one in an old box and it struggles to play games on low settings. If you can, spend a little more for a 9600gso like the other person suggested. You won't max the game out but it will definately be playable. Hope this helps :)

The 8400 will be able to play Mirrors Edge, but i can't imagine the frame rate or graphics will be much good.

You sure can.

Can you play at high settings? No.
Can you play at low settings? Yes.

i have mirror's edge on the PC and i have a Geforce GTX 260 (896Mb 192Core) And it really does run VERY WELL. although i am using a Phenom II 955BE CPU, windows 7 64 bit, and everything on maximum and PhysX enabled. Plays way better on the PC than the 360 (i have both versions), then again i prefer playing the majority of First person games on the PC

No real point in making any further comments, but like everyone already stated, yes it will play it, but only on low settings (including low resolution). Why not go with sometime a little higher? If you're low on cash, just look up a used 8800 on your local kijiji (I don't work for them btw). I wouldn't waste my money on anything less than an 8800GT ! Good luck!

not true man i imagine an hd 4670 would punch the junk out of it on a reasonable resolution (on par wit 8800gs)

you guys even think about his psu? maybe he doesnt have a 6 pin power connecter. i think unless he knows for sure that he does, he should just find the best video card that doesnt require external power.

like this bad boy

low profile and doesnt require much power, yet still reasonable for mirrors edge.
