will my cpu bottleneck my hd 4870?

lately ive been seeing more and more cpu's oc to as high as 4.0ghz and such and was wondering at what point my e6600 at 3.0ghz will be a bottleneck to my hd 4870 and whether or not i should oc it more

You'll be fine with that CPU for a while longer. I wouldn't worry about it for another year or so.Spartan8907

damn i wish i had ur processor :( im stuck with a 2.8ghz 5600+ amd its slow and no chance of overclocking it with my motherboard and defintly bottle necks my 4870 1Gjohnny27
