Which PC game will get 10/10 after they are released.

Only PC games that have a legit shot at a 10 assuming devs dont drop the ball and deliver on all fronts would be SC 2 and Diablo 3.

CRYSIS 2 is releasing in SEPTEMBER this year.........so we should get hyped.....I THINK........we don't have to wait 14months for it .. If the releasers also lingers the RELEASE DATE......

No it doesn't. Vice City on PS2 got a 9.6 and on PC it got a 9.3. and San Andreas got a 9.6 on PS2 and only a 9.0 for PC. I'm guessing controls are probably to blame (mouse and keyboard don't make good controls for this type of game).

Mouse and keyboard make the best controls for this type of game. Driving and flying are better thanks to the fluid and smooth peripheral vision and gunplay is better because you have fluid mouselook aiming.

Once again most people prefer to play third person action games on a controller and not on a mouse and keyboard.

Once again? Huh? You're saying two completely different things over two posts.

The controls are simply not why the PC version scores lower. Preference doesn't have anything to do with it - the keyboard and mouse is the best way to play the GTA games. If you think GTA is scoring lower because of its superior control scheme on PC, then you must logically also believe that FPS and RTS games are scoring lower on PC as well because of the keyboard and mouse, right?

There is no reason, it's a standalone expansion :| it's official, it's obvious, they said it, I say it, everybody says it.

I don't care if you don't believe me but get your facts straight. Yes Crysis is a trilogy, but we don't know anything official about Crysis 2, so don't name a standalone expansion, Crysis 2 because you want it to be nr. 2.

10/10 is not at all the same as 100% - they are two completely different rating systems. The only similarity they have is that they are both maximum marks. By your rationale, if 10/10 is the same as 100%, then 5/5 is the same as 10/10, and 2/2 is the same as 5/5, and no game deserves to score a 2/2 because it represents 'perfection'. All games should score 1/2... right?

Wrong, because the more you inflate your numbers, the more you encourage redundancy. Ever seen a (reputable) magazine score a 100%? I'm guessing n. And they reserve these top few percent for this fictional game that will never exist because they are idiots.

There shouldn't be a perfect game, you're right - but here's a question, if everyone recognises that there is no such thing as perfection, why is a score set aside for it? People with sense do not reserve their highest scores for these games that they publicly acknowledge cannot exist. Instead, they use top makes to represent the best games.

That's why I hate people who score out of 100%, even though they'll never give out over 95-6%, even to the best games ever made, simply because of some utterly pointless arbitrary nonsense about it not being perfect. And I'm not keen on a /10 system either, when people don't actually use 10. Let's be honest, what's the difference between a 9.5 and a 10, anyway? The score is just a way for the reviewer to tell the player how highly recommended the game is, if 9.5 is you absolutely must buy this game, what's a 10? You super absolutely must buy this game?

I didnt read everything but when GS give a 10/10 it says 'perfect' below...and no game is flawless

They changed that when they moved off the percentage system. It now says Prime.

That's okay, fallout 3 might turn out to be a great game, but it should get a full point deduction just for suggesting it's a sequel to fallout and fallout 2 :P

Battlefield Heroes is NOT Battlefield 3.

while crisis warhead, looks good it's an expansion and will essentailly be more of the same, with the same meh online gameplay (which I don't understand why people would care about if they have TF2 or counter strike... like come on!)

COD5 would be in the running if it wasn't WWII (as good as it is that the nazi's were stopped, we've stopped them a few too many times now, and the japanese weren't as big a threat as you americans seem to think.)

EDIT: anyway, lets not forget that PC games can't get 10/10, since if they have great graphics they "have performance issues on most PC's" and if they don't have these then they "have uninspiring graphics"

Also, again a bad arguement. For a few reasons.

1) Fallout 2 was rated higher than Fallout, so, why couldn't its sequel make the jump to 10?

2) Fallout 3 isn't actually a Fallout game. It's made by different people and has different gameplay.

I did follow what HotPotato said, and not once did he/she call Battlefield Heroes 'Battlefield 3.' They just said Battlefield 3 could score a 10 if it's good, which is true, it could.

We all know BF3 is coming, we just dont know when.

My predictions:
