I think that 600 -800w would eb more than enough, check the Nvidia website for full information but from what ive read from other peoples signatures (with there PC specs on it) should be good around that range 500w im not sureSo what PSU do i need for 9800 gtx or the + version?

You should be fine with that PSU and that video card unless you have a ridiculous amount of other things running in your system. I run a heavily overclocked 8800gts 512 (basically a 9800gtx) off a 550W supply.. I have 2 sata hard drives, 2 dvd burners, a high-end sound card, and an overclocked E8400 CPU. I don't see how you would have a problem unless that is a low quality 500W. hartsickdisciplwell its a low quality psu...
hell man, runs well on my 450W PSU (it´s the minimum required and I wanted to give it a shot before I started thinking on getting a new PSU).
Also I only have one disc drive and one HDD. But the main point is that the card runs well OCed and all. I have the + version.
