I don't care about MMOs, but Call of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2 are both great. I tried the LOTRO free beta a while back and I could probably get into it, but the monthly thing sucks and the game would kill my life (which is already destroyed by GS :) )

Ragnarok Online has estimated 25 million players. Of course most of them aren't subscribers but play at cafes et cetera.

My guess is pretty much any FPS supported by Steam. CS 1.6, Source, TF2. The list of servers makes you wanna s*** your pants. there seems to be more people playing on those games then the number of people said to live on earth.
