At the moment I'm using Logitech G700 and it's a very good mouse but it's a bit heavy for my liking. I was looking at this Roccat mice and was curious if anyone used them and what they thought.

Looking at the Kone+ and Kone XTD from Roccat. Also the Mionix NAOS 8200.

Not sure if this should be in the hardware forum or here but I figure I'll get more replies here anyway.

I use the m60 which is also a pretty heavy mouse but I find that's a good quality and not a bad one.

I'm using the Logitech M510 laser mouse. It's a very good mouse.. But my favorite mouse of all time, especially for shooters, is the Microsoft Wireless Optical 2.0. It was a fraction of the weight of my M510, the weight was perfectly balanced, and it tracked more accurately on my favorite mouse pad. Everything about it was perfect. I wish that Microsoft still made them... X09-49261-unit.jpg

I'm using a G700. If you think it's too heavy pick up the G9x instead. Less buttons but it might be better for you since you probably have small hands.

I have a Corsair Vengeance M90 ...It is the best gaming mouse i ever had. And i had Razer's too and Logitech's also. The last mouse(2 of them) i had Logitech G500...worst gaming mouse i ever had, this mouse,i think the whole series had a factory problem where the bottom laser would slighty "detach?" and would cause the mouse-pointer to tremble...and also the scroll wheel of that mouse had a factory malfunction or something.

So do not buy G500's...they are crap.

Mionix makes great mice and keybord, i used their mice before and are very comfy and precise, but between that and Corsair M60, i like M60 much better.

I would stay away from Mionix Naos. First-look, it may come off looking ergonomic but it isn't. The laser sensor is cheap.  There's a slant from left mouse click to the right that is very uncomfortable and if you have large hands and especially large fingers, you will end up sliding your fingers off the mouse.

You will literally have to go shopping for several mousepads to find one that will track well with the Mionix Naos. It doesn't even track well on a Razer Goliathus and RG is probably the best mousepad I've used. I'm not super-competitive online gamer, but I am very picky about these things. In games in CS, BF3, this mouse doesn't perform well at all.

I would only recommend Razer Deathadder (older model) or Razer Deathadder 2013. And Logitech G9x.

The best mouse ever produced in history of human kind - Razer Naga.  That used , using and will use, deffinetly by my long gaming expirience far the most dominating mouse ever crated, for MOBA , MMO RPG , Action games.

To each his own I guess, I was not a fan.

Was too much and wasn't a fan of how it felt...but that's just me, I know a lot of people love that mouse.

Don't think this one will do it, software issues keep me from mapping keys to buttons in SWTOR.

Ever since buying it, I've become addicted to general OS functions to the thumbpad.  More mice need them.

I had a g500 and noticed that it would jerk at random times annoyingly maybe mine was defective.

I recomend going to a shop and seeing how they fit your hand, though probabaly cheaper to buy online.

I'm happy with my Roccat Kova+, I like the shape and feel and the software is fairly good.

I am on my second though, the scroll wheel on my first only lasted 6 months, luckily amazon replaced it and i'll see how long this one lasts. Hopefully I just got a dud mouse first time round and it won't happen to this one.

I use a Sidewinder X8. Looking at those, and not having tried them, the Roccat mice look way more comfortable. There's quite a few hardware quality complaints about the Kone+. Specifically, that the scroll wheel is flimsy.

I would advise agenst any razor product, I have had nothing but problems from razor. Their keyboards randomly die and work again when you re-plug them in. Also my razor lycosa just dies from only 2 and a half months of use. I had the deathadder which lasted a year but the main problem with that was the rubber coating on the mouse, eventually it wears off and onto your hands and into the creases of the mouse. I had to disassemble it and shave off the coating which took me hours.

Lets not even get into their build quality of their headsets. You would be lucky if they last 3 weeks.

Now I have the R.A.T 7 which has its own set of problems but its DEFIANTLY a major step ahead. Im thinking about re-buying a cyborg keyboard which I originally ruined by spilling alcohol on it. It was a great keyboard and I should have stuck with what worked.

I have a G600 for WoW, a Deathadder for FPS's and an old intellimouse 3.0 that I use for whatever/spare mouse. I'd definitely recommend the Deathadder for all around gaming as well, its really comfortable and has a great sensor.

lol RAT mice
the sensor in that thing is unusable.

Big/Giant mouse: g400, great sensor, great clicking, the g400s has worse clicking.

Best medium sized mouse: DeathAdder 4g 2013, best sensor in a mouse, amazing sliding, decent grip, very good clicking.

Baby sized mouse: g9x(avago 9500) with no attachments.

I use the g9x w/ no attatchments because of the way I grip my mouse. Gliding is mediocre. Clicking is fantastic for the way I hold my mouse. I get the quickest humanbenchmark reaction time with this mouse,I get hackused a lot in Quake Live by top players for quick reaction rails.

I swapped the feet to these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007CMYZ14/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 way better than the stock feet. Gliding still isn't nearly as good as the deathadder 4g, sensor isn't remotely close. It's the only option for a small mouse though that isn't garbage.

The intellimouse 1.1/3.0 or wheel mouse optical are also decent mice, but the deathadder is just better than them.

I thought about the deathadder but decided to go with the Roccat Kone XTD and damn it's nice. I either own or have owned the Razer Naga, Razer Hex, Corsair Vengeance M95, G500 and G700 and I can tell you none of them come even to this Kone XTD. You can call it junk all day long but this thing blows away any mouse I have ever owned. Just the comfort, smoothness and accuracy makes it so worth the price.

JigglyWiggly_

I thought about the deathadder but decided to go with the Roccat Kone XTD and damn it's nice. I either own or have owned the Razer Naga, Razer Hex, Corsair Vengeance M95, G500 and G700 and I can tell you none of them come even to this Kone XTD. You can call it junk all day long but this thing blows away any mouse I have ever owned. Just the comfort, smoothness and accuracy makes it so worth the price.

i've never used that mouse so I can't say for sure. but if it works, then that's all that matters grip looks decent on that mouse too

I know it uses the Avago ADNS-9800 and the past issues with it have been fixed from what I understand.

The only thing I'm not crazy about is that it's rubber surface is so smooth that it's sometimes difficult to pick up if you need to. Other than that so far it's fantastic.
