I totally forgot Texture filtering is same as AF. But I can't reach 16x AA, it doesn't go beyond 8x.

The music on the settings menu is terrible. Don't think I've altered settings as quickly in my life.

Other than that, it looks like a lot of fun. Can't wait for it. The background music in the Ryu and Chun Li fights brought back memories.

Does anybody know if it will support two USB controllers?

Tresca_

I like the music, but the announcer is horrible :/.

It has support for the 360 controller, but I doubt it only works on that.

Guys, its not maxed out if it is telling you that you can raise your settings.

And it's not maxed out if it doesn't have AA or AF.

Even if you max it out it will have the same message and yes I agree with the AF and AA.

I found that with C16xQAA & 16AF I would get a 30fps drop at 1600 by 900 and get a C rank maxxed out when I lowered the rez down to 1280 by 800 would get an A rank with the same settings at 1600 by 900 with no AA would get an A rank so high settings less speed or lower rez with high settings. I think the game will be even more optimized when released due to a Nvidia driver update as I had a similar experience with DMC4 same sinario. It will be worth the wait and it's looking like a lot of peeps will be buying this game see you in the battle ranks.

Guys, who cares if the game isn't impressive, who gives a crap if it's supposedly 2d(It's actually 3d, but we have blind people at gamespot) just stop rambling and post your benchmarks.

knight0151

its a complex 2D fighter say the reviewers.

It IS a 3D game in a 3D environment, says the actual game. I don't know how or why you got the impression that out of all you saw the characters are the ones that are 2D >_>.

1920x1200

60hz

FULL AA and AF ( 8x-16x)

EVERYTHING High

16:10

Stable 90Fps without V-sync on -- Stable 60fps with Vsync on

Not even a slight FPS dropped in any scene.

SCORE = near 8800

4GB DDR2 RAM 1066 Corsair

Asus 4870 1GB DK

Intel C2D E8500 3.16

Asus P5Q

NOTHING overclocked

And yes this game , is one of the best optimized games for PC , not to say THE BEST even been. Way to go Capcom.

I hope more "lazy" developers do the same for their games on PC platform rather than "crappy" console ports. Not to say broken ones.

So this game EARN my money , ill buy this 100%.

Yep, set them higher, that's far from maxing it, those numbers are impossible for am 9600GT, if it were really maxed out at 1280x1024.

It IS maxed out, well not totally, I left AA off but everything else is High like soft shadows and the like. You can believe me or not, but unless there's some super secret setting, I think i'm good for this game.

Downloading the benchmark test now...I was shocked that devil may cry 4 on Direct x9 ran quite smooth on my 4 year old system with settings set to high, so im wondering if this will be playable too. AMD Athlon 64 3500XP 1GB of Ram X1950 pro. Don't worry, im gonna be building my new Rig sometime this year....but I have been quite happy with the long serving machine that I have had hours of enjoyment out of.... I just hope my new one will last about 8 years now :)

Wowzers. Capcom certainly knows what they're doing when it comes to PC optimisation. Much like DMC4, Street Fighter IV follows the same suit giving users very impressive framerates.

I can now back that up, with my system specs as mentioned above.. I got a C ranking on the benchmark with medium/high settings. If I can enjoy resident evil 5 on this machine i will be very very happy to the point that even now I must admit capcom to be one of the best non PC companies to actually convert a title without the massive requirements.
