Sexy samsung Samsung UE40D7000 or...

guys, i saw the other day this samsung

It looked really awsome compared to the other tv's that i saw, is this tv worth it mainly for gaming on PS3 and pc, watching a couple bluerays, won't be using 3D alot i think. Also what is the difference between this model and the UE40D8000?

Another question, the guy at the store said he prefered the Panasonic txp50vt30, i asked him why, and he said becuase its more vibrant. I looked back and forth between the two and felt that the samsung was more crisp, i don't know! am i hearing visions or something lol?? i'm looking for 40" to 42", thanks!

The 8000 is better/newer.

Also the VT30 is pretty much the best TV this year. The best thing about those Samsungs are the design. The picture is no slouch, but the VT30 does beat it. The only thing that can match the VT30 are the Samsung D8000 plasmas.
