Setting up Saitek P990 gamepad

i got myself a Brand new gamepad... it wasn't its official source so it didn't come with any instructions or drivers. I downloaded the drivers from the official website, but it still doesn't work with any of my games. Do i need to get anything else? Or is there a specific way of setting it up?

Not all games support controllers. Make sure they do, and select the option to use itfrom the settings menu.
