Planescape Torment. For the record, none of these games are "true" RPGs.

Actually the pool is a little misguided, the games are too different to be compared.

I voted Diablo series no because it's the best RPG, but because its the best SERIES and I spent a LOT of time having fun with it. But if you ask me planescape torment is much more "RPG" than any other game there.

I wrote rpg and h/s meaning hack & slash. Also i didn't put fallout in there because it isn't with swords, magic and dragons and such stuff it's modern but not the other games.

I picked Baldur's Gate simply because it was the last one I finished again.

If I could I would have picked the Ultima series. Ultima IV was released for free some time ago. If you're up for trying out of the more influencial games of the past then track it down and play. The approach to RPG's changed dramatically with Ultima IV. Those changes are still felt today.

They're not on your list but Fallout 1 and 2 but, of the games you listed, I'd have to say I liked Planescape the best.

Ultima is the best cRPG series, and maybe it'll ever be. From this list I go with Planescape: Torment.

well, be this the case, I think you should just have two polls: one for action RPG (hack n' slash) and *classical* CRPG.

my vote goes to Torment, the best CRPG ever.

What do you mean? You can't get more hardcore RPG than Baldurs Gate....

Exactly. If he had said that BG is not a "true" RPG in the sentence it would have been sig quality.
