8/10. I used to have 970 SLI before. Switched to a single 980 Ti and it is much better.

Get rid of the 3 970's tri sli scaling isnt that good, going from two to three is only averages around 30-35% increase.

Your better off with getting a GTX 980ti and then grabbing another later on it need be, if your aiming for 1440p+ 4k etc you need that extra vram. Plus two 980ti's will beat 3x 970's at high resolutions. If anything drop the 3rd 970 and just go dual SLI....

You can also get a better cpu cooler than that Intel BXTS13A CPU Cooler like the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

The three way sli seems to be the only issue everyone sees. I'm fine with that. Will post pictures when all the components get here and then will post the complete build hopefully before next weekend.

Anymore threads on the same topic and I'll start locking them.

You say you're fine with TriSLI 970's but why would you go against our better judgment and pay for something that in the long run is worse?

Whatever dude.

When you do post, put them in the pinned topic of "Show us your stuff"

I really hope it does. But it requires more work from the developers... Do you think they will?

DX12 has two levels of coding higher level one is DX11.3, which is easier to code for but still retains the multicore cpu communication features from DX12. Now DX12 is suppose to treat all gpu's as one big gpu using split frame rendering. So long as the devs code for SFR and game uses DX12 it should be some good scaling.

sadly i was hoping for much support for SLI or Crossfire .. but after what I saw and encountered the best thing right now to keep it with high end single CARD . nothing much to say ...

anyhow hope you enjoy your rig nothing or no one can make you love your rig more than yourself mind .

But do you honestly think they will code for SFR? Even if they do, I don't expect the best scaling before a year later.
