Radeon HD5770 vs 4890 3dmark (56k)

These are not my screens they are from another forum. But I am just relaying information. There is a futuremark/3d mark vantage bench 5770 vs 4890 below.

Now the meat and potatoes, its only futuremark mark but its nice to see anyways. This is a HD 5770 vs HD 4890

4890 moderate overclock

We'll see how it does in video games soon enough. It is, however; shaping up to be great.

Nvm I see it, no idea why, it says PIII but clocked at same ghz.

Hm I have 30 days to return my 4890 though, mine has a custom cooler on it and it only cost $165. I'll have to think about it.Recontrooper

If the 5770 delivers the same performance as a 4890 and is the same price, expect to see the end of the 4890's life cycle. The 5770 will feature Eyefinity, DX11 support, lower power consumption, lower temperaturesand 40nm architecture. Basicly, it will cost alot less to make a 5770 than a 4890 for AMD.

300 series is coming out soon so hopefully we'll see something as impressive as thisFrenzyd109

Oh ya dude, the 4890 is over, I bet they have already stopped manufacturing it as the 5770 is much, much cheaper for them to build so they can make much more money off of it.
