I don't know wat u mean..u can play all the games offline unless it is specified as online..
Games like COD 4 is awesome both on and offline..
In fact, every game should be based on a great offline game story...nowadays, where every crap-game must have something like an online-mode, some of the players lost that feeling for the great game and cry if the online-mode is crappy or doesn't exist. Srsly...
Try out some good Games... Mass Effect and Bioshock aren't the only pc-games in the world...But you will hardly find a game which hasn't a online mode nowadays...currently there are only a few. :O
elder scrolls franchise is all offline
really more offline only titles are found on consoles/handhelds than pc umm SoF payback has online but no one bothers to play it. dink smallwood, the path, a reckless disregard for gravity alpha test, mercenaries 2, just cause, fate, half life 2, portal, painkiller (has online but again no one plays it), warcraft 2 (not the battle.net edition), myth franchise, myst franchise, total war franchise (dont quote me on this), civilization franchise, ceaser franchise, lord of the realm 2 & 3, army men classic, carmaggeddon, ghost recon (origional), stolen, basically alot of games from the old 56k internet days are mainly SP or SP only. same with budget titles and indie games.
You're looking for offline-only games? Meaning, you want games that have single player and no multiplayer mode whatsoever. Well, ok, the make sure to avoid these titles:
They are the exact opposite of what you want.
Get Oblivion. That game is single player only but it has the open free feel of a huge multiplayer world. So it's got the best part of the multiplayer games without the other human players. If you get that game, make sure to get the game of the year edition cause it has both expansion packs with it.
