Hey guys, does anyone have any information about the next generation of GPU's coming out? The nVidia 6xx series or the ATI 7xxx series. I understand these might be coming out in the summer but, being the owner of a 4870x2 currently, I am very interested in what we might be able to expect from these new cards.

Any info regarding power, price, performance or release date, or just any general discussion, is appreciated.

I would expect Kepler (nVidia) in the fall, but I'm not sure about ATI...

Kepler is based on 28nm (penciled in for fall release) while maxwell (2013 release) is based in 22nm. Google nvidia roadmap. There are loads of acticles about the web. I too am waiting to see what nvidia and amd/ati bring this year as my 4870 isnt doing quite so well these days

Edit. Just found this about the 7000 series. Code names are Tahiti, New Zealand, Thames and Lombok. Dont know how reilable this info is though.

Im sure ionusX can clear this up for us though. The man with the knowledge :P
