Back when I used to play WoW was really a game changin experience especially because I have never played an mmorpg and was my first online game.
But also Half life was the most memorable game for me. Then played Half life 2 that was a more memorable game :D *good times* all of those reward me with awesome experiences.
Ultima Online. It was my first MMO and really WOWed me with the fact that it was an online world. It was made more than a decade ago, and sadly, no other MMO can match it's sandbox world.
System Shock 2
Deus Ex
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
The Operative: No One Lives Forever
Far Cry
Mafia
Max Payne
Homeworld
Freespace 2
Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay
Bioshock is literally System Shock 2 with renamed concepts and reskinned. No One Lives Forever 2 is far superior to 1, and the only reason I'd play Max Payne 1 over Max Payne 2 is for the Kung Fu 3.0 mod which is just epic(it lets you do wall runs and all kinds of crazy kung fu moves). Still, I think Max Payne 2 is way better gameplay wise.System Shock 2

StarCraft 1, 2

BFBC2 (With my clan, without them it wouldn't be on the list)
Multiplayer games have the potential to be extremely rewarding.
L4D2, World in Conflict, CoH and DoW 2 were the first that popped into my head
Mass Effect series.
As soon as i started up the first game i knew it was something i would remember for years to come and that i'd enjoy. It was like i was watching a blockbuster movie. Words can't describe how amazing these games are.
Now i want to cry that ME3 is delayed until 2012.
Lineage 2. When the last enemy bishop falls, and noone else is coming up to ally res for them...and u realise ur clan just won the 2 hour long fight for th raid boss. And after you kill it you go on the forums and trash talk them. feelsgoodman.jpg

No MMO to date has beat DAoC imo. Hybernia for life!
Mass Effect series for me. It is too bad that I uninstalled the second one without backing up my save :/. Is there a way to get that save back somehow ( from my online account etc.)?
