WOW my interest in Max Payne 3 has really shrunken because of this. Fat bald dude? takes place in Sao Paolo ? Yeah that sounds like the Max Payne we all loved.

i actually like this. i'm not exactly anticipating the game itself, but the cover looks very cool. i'm guessing that's either 1. not Max Payne himself, or 2. Max Payne who came out of retirement to settle the score. :D

I think the cover/bald fat image are meant to represent Max being "like in Die Hard 4". I think this is just a nod to the movie and not the actual Max.

At least, I hope so.

Am I missing something or did it say for the 360 and PS3 only. How can a game that started as a PC exclusive completely forget it's fan base?

More details from Shacknews, doesn't look promising. Painkiller addiction will be part of the gameplay, it worked so well in FarCry 2 they had to duplicate it. Using same engine as GTA 4 (no surpise), hope it's better optimized and includes an option to turn AA on. Set in Brazil?

■In addition to being bald and bearded, Max is addicted to pain killers.

■That pain killer addiction will affect gameplay.

■The game is set in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with battles in "urban ghetto" locales.

■"Fully destructible environments" and a cover system are in.

■There will also be some "day and night cycles."

■Bullet Time is now "more visceral and ultra-violent."

■Online multiplayer is in, but no details.

■Powered by Rockstar's RAGE technology (GTA4, Red Red Redemption).

Looks good to me... of course Im an old guy so I can relate abit...hehe.

Seriously though, I don't think we should start forming opinions yet. We have seen a couple of pictures, wait til we get some more previews and screenshots before we shoot it down...

No matter how the game will turn out, Ill take a deeper look at it. Buying it or watching all gameplay videos and stuff that come up, it remains to be seen...

I was kinda expecting Max to become addicted on those painkillers; Eating them like bread in MP1 and 2.

I admit that I am a bit scared about some of the things I read as far as cover system goes and the location there in. I couldn't even see the model, so I can't judge based off of that.

I do agree though that we should wait until we get at least a smidgeon of info about the game and the gameplay before we throw it in the dust.
