Did someone noticed the huge bug that happens when you try to kill someone who is marked gray (doesnt make any treat) to you (talking about PvE) in the lower leveling quests. To explain it better, i can`t do any real damage to level 20 enemies at my level 60 only when the quest is included (like sewers in noble district etc... Yirmish destroyers, ring a bell) So, if you skip some quest before and try to get back when you leveled up its like missin impossible. You can hit the enemy, but his strike is like 5 times stronger:o:(

I even saw player at level 80 (max) struggling (around 20 mins) with some enemies on level 20-30 in the sewers?!

FunCom need to fix that coz lot of people will be mad. I am basicly stuck now at level 60 with quests in which i can`t finish coz of that problem and other quests that are too high for me:cry: Anyone have the same problem?

Welcome to Age of Conan. The game of bugs and a game that is crap.

I quit when I was 70. There is no content after that.

The game could of been done so much better, but.. guess that wont happen.

Those are elite monsters, and are designed around fighting them in a group. You can what is an elite monster by their health bar.

There is no issue with that mechanic...you just need to get into a group to kill them (quicker).

In addition to that, Funcom changed the way quest xp works...so if a quest is grey to you, you get ZERO xp.

I am not talking about bosses, i am talking about regular enemies ...for example if in the same area you can find the same sort of enemy, and one is level 30 (marked gray) and the other is level 32 (marked red) you can beat the red one (stronger) easily but you can`t do any damage to gray marked...doesn`t make sense, its a bug nothing else.

There are different classes of regular monsters.

Normal

Elite

Pawn (terminology is not correct, but I forget the name)

Basically an elite mob is a normal mob that requires (at that level) a group to kill. They have MUCH higher attack, hp, defense, ect. At highers levels you can kill low level ones, but they still take a lot of damage to put down and can still dish some good damage out.

Ok, that make sense ...but they should put some markings on those bastards so i can avoid them:lol: Its hard to find a good campagnion, people like to play alone ...dont know why. And when you join the group, everyone need to go on another quest. I dunno where did you read that, but thnx for the info:)

They do have markings, when you click on them you can see their healthbar is much different looking (has spikes and stuff and looks "meaner") then regular mobs. I read the info in the manual...surprisingly good manual actually...lots of decent information in there.

WHAT???!!!

Theres already a HUGE lack of quests and now this? After level 28ish, the only way I leveled up was through grey/green quests.

I'm glad I left, I don't see myself going back, then again I don't see Funcom actually fixing their huge lack of leveling content. Too bad, I really loved the gameplay.

Yeah, gameplay is awesome, animation is superb and graphic is jaw dropping, not to mention great music/sounds. They will fix things eventually.

NOw, you are speaking about bosses ...have you even played this game? Now, back to the problem/bugs. Only bosses have spiked bar. And yes, i read the manual ...doesn`t say anything about things you mentioned;)

By the way, that was sarcasm.

Here is a post from the official forums:

http://forums-eu.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=69292

You can tell if a mob is an elite by looking at the name plate when you target it. If it's elite, then it will have little 'spikes' at the top of the name plate.. normal mobs don't have them. Elite bosses have the spikes and a 'cage' type effect as well (I think).

Once you've seen the different nameplates a few times you'll be able to tell the difference fairly easily

"If it some super mobs then they should have some way so you can se it, it was lvl 29 soldier that i codnt damage at lvl 35.

Same happend at Sanctum of the burning souls, 1 mob i cod kill the next mob with same name and lvl was at 90% hp left when i died."

...yeah the guy just take the thought out of my mouth, but the offered isnt correct, coz there is no difference, no spikes or cages or other **** over the health bar, so its just a regular ...BUG!!! Damn you FUNCOM:P

Not sure about whatever sanctum problem you are having, but Yirmish Destroyers (and every other elite mob I have ever seen) certainly do have different name plates complete with spikes at the top.
