Is this smell normal?

I bought a Samsung B2230H monitor yesterday...... But since it is running right now if i go back to the exhaust ports and smell, it kinda smells like something is burning...... The same smell my 360 power brick smelt .... Is something wrong?

Yeah bro its totally cool its a break in process.

Its likely just conductors, resistances, and other componantsthat are getting warmed up for the first time. It is fairly normal, IF it smells a bit like burning Ceramics.

If it has more of a burning plastic smell, it may be a bit of a problem :P

If your Xbox broke and smelled a bit like th same (a more harsh smell tho) it is likely jest the Ceramics
