NVIDIA's Quadro Series arent gaming cards at all .......... you should look more towards the gtx 295

the quadro fx5800 is a professional solution for 3d designers and is based on the desktop version of gtx280 so getting 2 gtx295 will be faster ( even 1 will be faster) in gaming we are talking will be faster

No, the 295 is the best card you can get right now. If you want more power, you can go SLI with the 295.

and if you want they make cards that already have waterblock hs and in sli it tends to cool it down better(more then one card use)

And in the Alienware ALX X58 is there any way to put quad sli?

Why dont you buy one now, get the second later? Seems to make sense to me.

Unless your playing on a 30" monitor.

My PC's got a GTX 295. strider is right. One is enough. It's a great card. I play on a 40" HDTV with absolutely no problems. I'm not sure why Lyron is saying using a 30" monitor would be bad. I don't see why it would cause you any problems. Just make sure your monitor is capable of high resolutions to get the best out of the GPU.

Your 40" runs at 1920x1080 a 30" monitor runs at 2560x1600... big difference.
