NO on the AMD chip.. No... everyone will tell you no.. There is no fanboyism (see my sig) and just simply... NO... Intel i2500K or I2600K.. sit back, enjoy life for years... Don't mess with AMD top end chips. They are extremelty lackluster price to performance.

Intel 2600k has better power consumption, better chipset features and better gaming performance. It's without a doubt the better processor.

Depends on price. Carefull with "amd chipsets for gaming" i.e. it can cover AMD GPU or AMD CPUs.

With your setup, there's no need to jump towards AMD Bulldozer.

Atm, AMD Bulldozer is an interesting theoretical improvements over hyperthreading.

AMD Bulldozer will be replaced by AMD Piledriver core sometime in H1 2012. AMD Trinity will bypass AMD Bulldozer and go direct towards AMD Piledriver.

Treat AMD Bulldozer as AMD Phenom I.

No question, the 2600k! or if you are just gaming you can just save some cash and get the 2500k (hyper threading does not help 99% of games).

Bulldozer? more like Bull****!

You already have a beast system, why are you even thinking about switching it?
