My new PC would be 2300 USD, and I will have two 5870. So, maybe you would like to have two 5870. GTX 480 video card is too hot.

You know I would actually get the 750 watt version of that power supply, although the 600 watt should be OK. That's just me.

Get two of these instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130564&cm_re=460-_-14-130-564-_-Product Better exhaust and lifetime warranty. Also get a better case, maybe the Cooler Master HAF. That case is way too crappy for your budget.

You don't need 6gb of ram, go for 4gb and you'll save some money. Buy a Cooler Master or Antec case if you can. For a graphics card I highly recommend two GTX 460s. http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=461645http://www.komplett.se/k/ki.aspx?sku=603102

Pretty beastly, should serve very well as a gaming rig. I can't comment on the quality of that case manufacturer though, as I've never heard of them.

The PSU is really just splitting hairs. The HDD is also just splitting hairs. I ave the F3 however and it's great. It's also cheaper so I'd get that.

The powersupply is modular, which means that you will be able to unplug cables that you aren't using in order to tidy your case up a little bit and improve airflow. That harddrive is newer than the Western Digital and is rated extremely high in both performance and reliabilty. I have one myself and its great.

If money isnt a problem then why would you all recommend an AMD CPU? The i5's are better in every single way! Only possible problem is socket issues in the future.

The Corsair HX he posted earlier is also modular.

I guess I'm just really frugal like that :P The Phenom II's seem to be in the price/performance sweet spot.

Yeah I mean we could just recommend a Core i7 extreme but that wouldn't be very cost effective. If he's just gaming a phenom II is fine.

True, the Phenom II is fine,,,but the i5 cost only a tiny bit more but for that your getting more overclocking potential, better performance clock for clock, lower power usage, auto-overclocking'ish. In my opinion its worth it for this guy.
