I want a new laptop, suggestions?

I want to get a new laptop that is fairly competent in gaming. Problem is that I am very bad with telling how good a computer will be at running games. Also if you have any suggestions on a different laptop i could get that is better and also around $1000 that would be awesome.

The ASUS G60 is better, much better GPU.

it's also cheaper, which is good for me too, is the processor good enough?

Thats better, but you need to note, you lose 0.4inches of the screen but the resolution is much better. Its also about $200 more.

No, it weighs far too much, and shouldn't even be called a laptop, you will literally break your back carrying it around. Its also got an odd resolution, which games may not support.
