off amazon for 2$ and it downloaded a 6.9 gb folder to my desktop. After it was downloading it made me install the game which is another 8gb. It's installing to program files 86. My question is what is the folder on my desktop? Also after the game is done being installed can I delete that folder? I really don't want a 6.9gb folder on my desktop let alone my computer.

~Thanks.

That's just a temporary folder. You can delete it after it's done installing.

Check your Games folder in the start menu. Should be a shortcut there.

I've had issues with games downloaded through Amazon working too.

I would suggest activating the game through Origin. Unfortunately, I believe you'll have to redownload the game through the client (I could be wrong so someone correct me), but Origin has given me much better luck.

Just never liked it, always used Avast, free and doesnt bloat my PC. McAfee also got panned by reviewers for letting tons of viruses through.
