I ran Arma II on a Phenom II 550 and a HD 4890 when it first came out and I remember getting a average of 30FPS with everything on medium and no AA with the view distance around 1/3 this was at 1280x1024. Since your CPU is about on par and your GPU is a little better than a HD 4890 so I'm going to say that you should be fine playing it on medium settings on resolutions up to 1680x1050 and no AA and get a decent performance. The biggest killer in this game is view distance just make sure you keep it under 4000 in order to get a good average framerate. The game is power hungry you need a fast quad core and a GPU like a HD 6870/GTX 560 minimum in order to play the game at 1920x1080 to get a solid 50-60FPS. The game is very CPU demanding by going from a stock i5 2500k 3.3GHz to 4.4Ghz I get a extra 5-10FPS. Your looking at 30-40FPS with 2000-3000 view distance and no AA on medium settings. Your GPU is okay but in this game that CPU will slow you down.

Oh-Wait-Youre-Serious_o_97195.gif

on a serious note, the thing that really makes arma hard to run is the visibility, not the textures, by turning my visibility down just enough i get an extra 30-50 fps, the only other thing is that it it is not very well optimized either
