So I have 2 Dell u2713hm 1440p monitors and I'm considering, once I move and have more room, using both of them. Not for gaming as 2 screens with a bar in the middle just doesn't work for me.

Anyway, I was just curious how many you guys use and if having one extra really adds anything.

Really considering selling one of them to be honest...

I'd never use more than one monitor for gaming. Like you said, a bar in the middle is just horrible. I have no clue how some people can stand that. I'm a software engineer though so I'm mostly using 2 screens for work.

I've always used one monitor at home. I've had 2 monitors set up in the past on and off but most of the time the second monitor is off and does nothing, unless I need it for Photoshop or something. No point pushing the video card to output to 2 monitors if you're not going to use them.

At work I always have 2 though cause I need them.

I use one. Of course it's preference but for me two or more monitors seems like a waste of money and space for very little gained. I'd rather use that space for my big speakers - and then just get one really good monitor. I'd take one great monitor over 2 "okay" monitors any day of the week.

I am the same, I prefer the big speakers. I actually have 4 monitors, but only use 2 of them (stacked vertically). I only game on a single monitor though.

I use 3. I either game on one or I game across all three - I really don't notice the bezels when gaming across 3.

Some games don't work well across multiple monitors. Take LoL for example, the HUD is too far spaced out: map is on right monitor in bottom right cornor, quick key/center part of HUD is on middle monitor and health/mana is in lower left corner of left monitor. It's not convenient to have the HUD spaced out that far - too hard to play like that.

Games like Borderlands 2 is awesome to play across 3 monitors.

Some games don't play well with 3 monitors like Shoot Many Robots - the game doesn't fit the 5760x1080 correctly and menu options cannot be accessed and the game can't be played.

1 32 inch TV or 14 inch Laptop Screen. Shutdown the monitors a while back as I have moved to a couch setup.

Two, a 1440p and 1080p. Will soon replace the 1080p with another 1440p.

Couldn't go back to single screen, would be like cutting one arm off.

One. I have room for 2 on my desk but I don't care to invest in such a setup. I'm content with what I have.

Just one on the desktop these days, 32" 1440p BenQ. Dont really miss my old two screen set up as it was two 19" 1280 x 1024 screens...

If I want to chill on the Sofa though I'll hook my laptop up to the 47", 1080p Samsung TV. I guess you could count the laptop's 1080p 15.6" screen too. :P

I have a 50" TV I use as my main. I also have a 23" I could potentially hook up if I wanted an extra reference screen.

2, my main 1080p benq and a 19" 1600x900 dell that a company was throwing out.

Thanks to a big desk I still have room for some large speakers too.

I tend to have my pc hooked up to my tv as well as my monitor, as it only sits a few feet away from the tv stand. Makes it easy when I want to switch back and forth for movies and such. My monitor is a Asus PB278Q 144p 60hz APS monitor, and My tv is some shit dynex with a C grade TN panel with a resolution close to 720p.

Normally, I just game on one monitor. But, for daily work and flight sims, I use multimonitor.

FSX. I could've sworn I posted this earlier.
