How many hours does it take to finish Dragon Age Origins ?

It really depends on if you do the side quests or not.

My friend beat it in 45 hours with no side quests

I beat it in 75 hours with most the side quests.

I did about 1/3 of the sidequests and logged 49 hours.

It can be anywhere from 50-100 hours, it just depends upon how much of the total game you want to complete.

I would say, if you choose to skip most of the side quests, 40-50 hours.Deadly_Fatalis

i finished my first playthrough in 61 hours w/ most of the sidequests and i was playing Human Noble Warrior. However my playthrough was before patch 1.02. Which added some lost plotlines (ie quests) to the game. I agree with the 50-100 per playthrough.

However 35 hours with most of the sidequests. Yeah i doubt it unless s/he didn't listen to any dialogue in the game.

If you rush through, skip lots of dialogue and sidequests 30-40 hours. If you take your time, talk to everyone you see, explore every nook and cranny, do all the side quests and read the Codex entries 60-80 hours.MadCat46

Yeah the codex really add to the game imo, some interesting stuff in there.

These are the times one of my friends did:

Completed Main Story with all side quests done = 80 hours

Completed Main Story with most side quests done = 72 hours

Completed Main Story with around half of side quests done = 63 hours

Completed Main Story with a few side quests done = 55 hours

Completed Main Story with no side quests done = 48 hours

Well I have 32 hours of gameplay in Dragon Age Origins and I'm not even half way.

I did it with half of other missions in 50

Took me 35 hours on medium.
